The final round of the Vietnamese Olympiad in Informatics Community (VNOI) Cup 2022 took place in Da Nang on Friday afternoon.

The event saw the participation of top 12 talented programmers of online qualifiers, along with two invited guests who were goal medalists at the recently-concluded Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2022 (APIO).

In the end, the first prize of VND 20 million was awarded to programmer Le Phuoc Dinh, 23, from Da Nang. Meanwhile, 17-year-old Tran Xuan Bach, and 23-year-old Do Dinh Dac, both from Ha Noi, finished in the second and third places, respectively.

The 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th finishers received medals and cash prizes totalling VND35 million.

Top 12 best programmers at the final round were awarded the VNOI CUP 2022 certificates.

VNOI Cup 2022, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, aimed to form an annual programming ranking for young Vietnamese, discover IT talents, and provide opportunities for young people with a great passion for programming to show off their talents.
