The Hack4Growth, an innovation contest launched by the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global), one of the largest networks of Vietnamese scientists and experts, is now open to applications for the third season until the end of August 15, 2022.

The contest aims to promote the startup ecosystem in Vietnam, promoting the country's sustainable development through the development of practical and community-oriented solutions.

Hack4Growth is the biggest competition to connect provinces and the startup community thanks to the patronage of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As for its eligibility criteria, the event is open to participants  who must be at least 15 years old and have parents or guardians' approval for participating in the contest; each team must have at least one member who aged 18+ and has Vietnamese nationality/origin.

With regard to registration methods, participants can register as a group of 3-5 members. Should participants have not been in any team yet or have an insufficient number of members, they can find and group with other contestants using the V-Space platform supported by the Organizers.

Participants need to submit a (5-minute) video to introduce their projects.

Participants will then be asked to provide information about their team leader, team members and project on the website https://www.hack4growth.org. Project proposal includes problem statement, solutions/ products, summary of outstanding points, and business plan for the next 2 years

The event is organised at an international scale with its regional chapters held in five crucial innovative hubs, namely Viet Nam, Europe, America, Japan, and Australia, through connection and partnership with top-notch innovation communities at both regional and global levels.

The competition is extensively supported by a large community of 10,000+ international experts, advisors, and partners from over 20 countries and territories all over the world. Participants, advisors, and partners will stay connected via an exclusive platform developed by AVSE Global.

Passing the registration round, the top 20 excellent teams from around the world entered the second round to select 10 teams for training by consultants and coaches.

The final round and the awards ceremony are scheduled to take place from November 1 to December 31, 2022.

The total prize value of the contest is up to US$30,000.
