A startup project ‘Probiotics for shrimp’ of a group of students from the VN - UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK), a member school of the University of Da Nang (UD) is one of the 50 projects to have been approved by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training to compete in the final round of the 5^th Students with Startup Ideas (SV-Startup 2023). The event is scheduled to be held at the end of March in Thua Thien- Hue Province.

The Probiotics project was incubated from the ‘VNUK Innovation Challenge 2023’ contest organised by VNUK in early 2023.

This startup project shows off innovation and high practical application significance, aiming to create products that contribute to reducing the amount of pathogenic microorganisms and cleaning ponds with high efficiency and low cost.

It is known that SV-Startup 2023 aims to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship, equip students with knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship, promote scientific research and digital transformation activities and creating an environment for students to form and realise startup ideas.

This year's contest features 5 competition areas, namely industry, product manufacturing; agro-forestry-fishery; education, tourism, services, finance; medical, health care, beauty technology; business with social impact.
