The Viet Nam Informatics Association, in collaboration with the Da Nang Department of Information and Communications, organised a seminar to introduce platform and blockchain technology applications in digital asset management and digital economy development in order to promote the development of the digital economic potential as well as introduce practical applications of blockchain technology in digital asset management and adding value to products.

The seminar highlighted the introduction of blockchain platform, a plan to build DaNangChain, the application of real-virtual connection solutions to add value to handicrafts and OCOP (One Commune - One Product) items and digital exhibition models.

Many businesses expressed their desire for the management agency to research, form and pilot the blockchain platform in the city, at the same time joining the DaNangChain platform in increasing the value of handicraft products, stone sculpture, OCOP products and in the fields of digital document management, digital museums, access to food origin and land management towards the goal of forming an international financial centre and developing a sustainable and effective Da Nang digital economy.

Also within the framework of the workshop, the municipal Department of Information and Communications and the Viet Nam Club of Digital Signatures and Electronic Transactions, along with organisations providing public digital signature certification services inked a memorandum of cooperation on promoting the coverage of digital signatures, especially deploying free digital signatures for people to increase the use of public services and electronic transactions.
