New digital technologies introduced to ASEAN delegates

Within the framework of the ongoing 16th Conference of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information (AMRI) being held in Da Nang from September 20 - 23, participating media units introduced their new digital technology products to the participating delegates.

Accordingly, there are eight booths of media units, namely K+ Satellite Digital Television, Sconnect Vietnam Technology and Services Investment Company Limited, VTC Digital Television Station, Viet Nam Post Corporation, FPT Group, Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group, Viet Nam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), and Da Nang.

In particular, the Da Nang booth included the local Investment Promotion and Support Board, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, the Da Nang IOC Center, the DNICT Center, the Da Nang Radio and Television Station, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, and the Da Nang Newspaper.

The participating units introduced many new technologies to the exhibition such as Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, blockchain-based digital stamp demo, and a virtual tourism system for destinations on Vr360 virtual reality technology called "One touch to Da Nang".

Besides, the Department of Foreign Information under the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications displayed 50 artistic photos about ASEAN countries and organised to experience 3D images with VR glasses of film and photo products about ASEAN.
