The conference received 179 scientific reports from 295 authors from 17 countries around the world, of which 108 reports were selected to be presented at two plenary sessions and featured sessions on November 25 and 26.

The reports revolved around the application of information technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI) in language teaching and learning in order to meet the current practical situation of teaching in Viet Nam and the world.

In particular, the conference had presentations about AI and Chat GPT in teaching from key speakers, who are famous experts from prestigious domestic and international universities such as Prof. Robert Godwin-Jones from the Virginia Commonwealth University, the US; Dr. Ania Lian from the Charles Darwin University, Australia; Prof.Dr. Andrew Lian from the University of Technology, Thailand; and President of AsiaCALL.

This year’s conference served as an important platform for researchers, practitioners and policymakers to exchange valuable insights and experience on the application of AI and critical digital literacies in language learning.

It also provided an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to update the latest knowledge in the aforementioned fields, share best practices and foster collaboration with colleagues globally.
