The See club under the Students’ Association of the Da Nang University of Economics has built a healthy and useful English environment for students inside and outside the club.

Established in 2011, the club currently has 63 members with a desire to bring motivation and passion for learning English to pupils and students throughout Da Nang. Besides, the See club also helps them get out of their shells and become more confident when using the English language.

Not simply an academic English playground, the See club helps students develop and hone soft skills that will be useful for themselves in the future.

The club’s outstanding feature is ‘I love English’, which is an annual and the biggest activity of the club, aiming to create a useful English playground for students in the Da Nang University of Economics and those from other from tertiary establishments in the city.

“Through the contest, we want to promote the spirit of self-studying English and the passion for this popular foreign language among students across the city.”, said Tran Le Bao Vy, a third-year student from the Faculty of Finance, the Da Nang University of Economics, cum the club’s Chairman.

Having been organised 8 times, the club is constantly diversifying the methods of organising the programme such as implementing competitions on rhetoric, criticism, singing and integration activities in the form of groups and individuals with thousands of participating students.

In addition, the EZONE English Festival is an academic programme including IELTS Workshop, the Mini Talkshow on the topic of ‘Study Abroad’ and providing practice tests on IELTS & TOEIC for students in the city. Accompanying these useful academic activities will be practical experiences, creating opportunities for you to experience IELTS practice tests on computers.

Not only that, the club also organises open seminars, discussions, and exchanges of knowledge, methods and skills on learning programmes and practicing English skills. These are activities organised by the club in each school year with the aim of helping students learn and improve, practice and gain more experience in skills such as writing and speaking skills in important exams like the IELTS exam.

The See club also brings English to students through simple and interesting games and practical Small Talk sessions with foreigners to help enhance their ability to apply in daily life. Weekly academic meetings are held to help club members improve their English skills (especially speaking skills and confidence in speaking in public).

“The club's activities are very interesting and useful, helping us have more interesting experiences, connecting members together to overcome difficulties in study and life together.”, said Le Thi Hoang Nguyen, a third- year student from the Faculty of International Business, a club member .
