Soon completing project on developing University of Da Nang into National University
In his remarks at a meeting on Thursday to review Party building work of the Party Committee of the Da Nang University in 2023 and identify its tasks in 2024, Head of the municipal Party Committee's Publicity and Training Department Doan Ngoc Hung Anh highly praised remarkable results achieved by the unit in the past year.
He took the opportunity to ask the unit to continue to do well the Party building work, and effectively implement the resolutions of the 13th National Congress and the 22nd Congress of the Da Nang Party Committee in 2024, especially in the field of education and training.
The focus should be on implementing the Directive No. 34-CT/TU issued by the municipal Party Committee’s Standing Committee on continuing to promote administrative reform, strengthen discipline and order, and prevent signs of avoidance, pushing responsibilities, failure to perform duties, lack of accountability, tasks, roles, and authorities of officials, party members, cadres, civil servants and public employees in the current situation, he added.
He noted that importance should be attached to actively coordinating with units under the Ministry of Education and Training and relevant agencies to complete a project on developing the University of Da Nang into the National University, as well as ensure the construction progress of the Da Nang University Urban Area project in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.
Besides, Mr. Hung Anh stressed the need for the University of Da Nang to improve the effectiveness of international cooperation and its position, increase resources for training and scientific research, and develop modern and synchronous facilities and equipment suitable with its development orientation in the coming time.
On the occasion, Head of the municipal Party Committee's Publicity and Training Department Doan Ngoc Hung Anh awarded Certificates of Merit from the Party Committee to 10 individuals who excellently fulfilled their tasks for 5 consecutive years from 2018-2022.
