The Startup Runway 2024 has ‘Toward a New Era: Empowering Sustainable Entrepreneurship’ as its theme.

Hosted by the University of Economics - the University of Da Nang, the annual competition aims to seek and honour startup ideas and projects; arouse the entrepreneurial spirit of senior high school pupils, and college and university students; stimulate creativity and dynamic thinking; create a useful playground and practical experience in setting up business projects; and promote the application of knowledge and skills in real life. It, thereby, provides a small ecosystem of innovative startups, and an environment to connect business owners, incubators, clubs with new ideas.  

This year’s competition seeks projects related to 6 topics: sustainable entrepreneurship; social entrepreneurship; green entrepreneurship; digital entrepreneurship; sustainable development; and environment protection and restoration.

The preliminary rounds of the competition is expected to be held from March 3 - 10, the semi-finals on June 30 and the final in mid-August 2024.
