A total of 714 job opportunities in Japan have been offered during a recent job fair jointly held by the Da Nang-based Dong A University and Japanese businesses.

During the event, 21 Japanese businesses recruited 714 job positions in Japan through face-to-face and online interviews.

Six Japanese businesses are expected to participate in interviews to recruit Vietnamese students for professional internships and work from 2025.

As of late 2023, the Dong A University sent 550 Vietnamese students to work and take part in internship programmes in businesses in Japan. It is expected that in the first two quarters of 2024, the university will continue to send 133 students to Japan for internship and working.

On the occasion, Japanese partners have provided scholarships totalling more than VND530 million for the university’s students.

The university has signed three cooperation documents with Japanese businesses on training, professional internship programmes and working in Japan for students majoring in information technology, tourism, Japanese language, and business administration.
