More than 290,000 kindergarten and elementary, and junior and senior high school pupils across Da Nang began their new 2024-2025 academic year on September 5 morning.

Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, and Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Bich Thuan attended the opening ceremony of the new school year at the Tran Quang Khai Junior High School.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Tran Quang Khai Junior High School welcomed 422 6^th graders, bringing the total number of pupils in the school to 1,578.

According to the Principal of the Tran Quang Khai Junior High School, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tung, in the new academic year, the school will continue to implement the motto "Teaching letters goes hand in hand with teaching morality", attaching importance to strengthening relationships and coordination with parents and social organisations in the locality to care for and educate children at both home and school.

In the past academic year, the school achieved many successes, and many of its pupils won high prizes at municipal, national and international-level competitions. This year, the school welcomed 300 grade 10 pupils admitted to specialised classes.

The school continues to carry out its mission of discovering and nurturing talents for the city and the country, creating outstanding educational values ​​with a focus on promoting the qualities, core competencies and talents of each individual. Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh attended the opening ceremony and presented a big basket of flowers to congratulate the Thanh Khe Senior High School and its pupils on the new school year.

In the 2023-2024 school year, 100% of 12^th graders of the school passed the senior high school graduation exam. In particular, 65 pupils won the municipal-level awards for excellent pupils (an increase of 13 compared to the 2022-2023 school year), and 4 others took the municipal-level Young Informatics awards.

In addition, teams of the school's pupils grabbed the third prize at the municipal-level English Olympic Competition and the third prize at the Da Nang Open Robot Contest 2024.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the school welcomed 495 10^th graders. Currently, the school has a total of 1,461 students distributed in 33 classes. The school continues to innovate teaching methods and build a modern and civilised educational environment. At the same time, it will pay special attention to encouraging pupils to promote youthful enthusiasm, passion and creativity in learning, actively participate in extracurricular activities, and cultivate life skills for themselves so as to always be confident in all circumstances.

On the occasion, Chairman of the People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang sent a flower basket to congratulate the Ngu Hanh Son Senior High school on the new academic year.

In the new academic year, the school welcomed a total of 439 grade 10 pupils, divided into 11 classes, bringing the total number to 1,261.

The school aims to continuously innovate and improve the quality of education; achieve many achievements in teaching and learning activities; creatively and effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements with practical content and forms; create a clear change in the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning activities; and promote digital transformation and socialisation of education.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Council Tran Phuoc Son attended and congratulated the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year at the Dam Quang Trung Junior High School based in Lien Chieu District. This year, the school welcomed 299 grade 6 pupils, bringing the total number of the school’s pupils to 1,168.

The school has relatively complete facilities: projectors, network systems with connections to serve well for teaching and learning according to the General Education Program. The teaching staff has professional qualifications that meet and exceed standards, and has participated in training courses on the 2018 General Education Program. They are so energetic, enthusiastic and adaptable.

The Viet Nhat Primary, Junior and Senior High School was established in 2018 and moved to a new facility at 365 Phan Chau Trinh in the 2023-2024 school year. Despite many difficulties, the school's teaching and learning work is always highly appreciated. In the 2023-2024 school year, nearly 85% of the school’s pupils were classified as good and excellent levels.

In the new school year, the school is determined to boost digital transformation in teaching, managing and training pupils; striving to carry out well the industry's campaigns and emulation movements; and developing pupil’s capacity and qualities.
