Covid-19 updates on 13 June

As of 1.30 pm on 13 June, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 7,732,948.

Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on June 12 evening announced one more imported Covid-19 case, bringing the country's overall tally to 333. Two more patients who tested positive for coronavirus were discharged from hospital on 12 June, taking the total of patients given the all-clear in Viet Nam to 323 till date, the Committee said. This means 96.7 percent of the cases in the county have made a full recovery from the illness. Latest update from Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control states that as of 2pm on 13 June, no-one in Viet Nam has been positive for the potentially deadly virus. It means the total number of cases in the country still stands at 333, with no deaths. The country has gone 58 consecutive days without a domestically transmitted infection.    

Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
