Covid-19 updates on 15 June
As of 5.30 pm on 15 June, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 8,014,129.
There have been no new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Viet Nam in the past 24 hours as of the afternoon of 15 June, according to statistics from Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. It means the total number of cases in Viet Nam still stands at 334, with no deaths. The country has gone 60 consecutive days without a domestically transmitted infection. The Committee said 323 of Viet Nam's 334 cases have been given the all-clear for the virus till date. This means 96.7 percent of the cases in the county have made a full recovery from the illness.
Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
