As of 5.00 pm on 23 June, the number of confirmed coronavirus (known as Covid-19) cases around the world has jumped to 9,209,934.

Statistics released by Viet Nam's National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control show that Viet Nam has seen 328 people recover from the deadly illness. This means the percentage of patients who have recovered from the coronavirus in the country currently reaches 94. Viet Nam has no active coronavirus cases on June 23 afternoon. It means the total number of cases in Viet Nam still stands at 349 with no deaths, the Committee said. The country has gone 67 days without a domestically transmitted infection. 

Thus far six people have been diagnosed with the disease in Da Nang, and all of them have been cleared of the virus.
