The first day of the new lunar year
Published: February 20, 2015
In contrast to the hustle and bustle of the Tet preparations in Da Nang on the 30th day of the 12th lunar month, the city was much quieter on the first day of the New Year.
However, the city’s pagodas were filled with people praying for peace and prosperity through the year ahead.
Here are some photos, taken by our reporter Hoang Hiep, which reflect the atmosphere in the city on the 1st day of Tet.
