Amazing moments on Phu Quoc Island

DA NANG Today

Kien Giang Province’s Phu Quoc Island, which is the largest island in Viet Nam, is dubbed as “Pearl Island”.  It is well-known nationally and internationally for its beautiful scenery and local specialities.

The island was recognised as a second-grade city in 2014, and it is being developed into a special economic-administrative zone in the southern region.  This will help the island to fully tap its potential and further its development in the years ahead.

Da Nang Today would like to share with our readers some photos taken by our reporter Nguyen Thanh during his recent trip to the island.

The island’s pristine Sao Beach attracts a large number of visitors thanks to its silky white sands and sapphire-blue waters.
