A joyful and festive atmosphere is spreading across Da Nang in recognition of the Mid-Autumn Festival which this year falls on today, 4 October.
Local residents and children are being treated to exciting performances by professional and amateur lion dance groups along local streets at night. In addition, a wide range of Mid-autumn items, such as mooncakes, candies and lanterns, have been given to poor local children, and child patients at local hospitals.
