Beautiful flower growing area in rural Hoa Vang District

With just around one month to go to the Tet Festival which will begin on 5 February, flower growers at the Van Duong Flowers and Ornamental Plants Cooperative in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Lien Commune are gearing up their production. Their products will be available for local customers who want to buy ornamental plants and flowers to decorate their houses to celebrate this special occasion.

The Cooperative now has 21 members involving the growing and trading of flowers and ornamental plants on a total area of 3 ha. The majority of their flower seeds were sourced from specialised growing areas in Lam Dong Province's Da Lat City.

Recently, the Cooperative members have been busy expediting their recovery from prolonged rain damage in December 2018 in order to ensure that their flowers will reach full bloom exactly during the forthcoming festival.
