Two machines operating in the front of the Da Nang Youth Federation headquarters located on 71 Xuan Thuy Street in Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District are dispensing free rice to support those affected by the coronavirus pandemic citywide.
The so-called Rice ATMs have been set up as part of the 'Compassion Rice' charity programme by the municipal Young Entrepreneurs' Association, the municipal Youth Federation and the Hai Chau District authorities.
The two rice dispensers will run from 20 April until 20 June, and the machines operate from 7.30am - 11.30am, and from 1.30pm - 5.00pm daily.
The rice and the dispensers are provided through donors. The organisers are launching an appeal for rice and cash donations to operate the dispensers until June. Please read the article at https://baodanang.vn/english/society/202004/fundraising-appeals-for-rice-atms-operation-3374096/ for detailed information on ways to give your donations.
