Adoption of new technologies in Hoa Vang District's farming

The Hoa Vang Rural District authorities in Da Nang announced a new grant scheme for adoption of new technologies in farming in the Hoa Vang District Vegetable and Fruit Cooperative on 15 May 2019. The Cooperative received 2.4 billion VND in funding from the Hoa Vang District authorities and the Da Nang Farmers' Association to build net houses on an area of 2,800m2 to grow vegetables, melons and flowers hydroponically.
Established in July 2017, the Hoa Vang District Vegetable and Fruit Cooperative located in Trung Nghia Village, Hoa Ninh Commune, is one of Da Nang's dominant models of technology adoption in farming. |
Such main varieties of melons as Inthanon RZ và Rangipo RZ are grown hydroponically in this Cooperative. |
