The Hoa Vang Rural District authorities in Da Nang announced a new grant scheme for adoption of new  technologies in farming in the Hoa Vang District Vegetable and Fruit Cooperative on 15 May 2019. The Cooperative received 2.4 billion VND in funding from the Hoa Vang District authorities and the Da Nang Farmers' Association to build net houses on an area of 2,800m² to grow vegetables, melons and flowers hydroponically. 

Established in July 2017, the Hoa Vang District Vegetable and Fruit Cooperative located in Trung Nghia Village, Hoa Ninh Commune, is one of Da Nang's dominant models of technology adoption in farming.

Such main varieties of melons as Inthanon RZ và Rangipo RZ are grown hydroponically in this Cooperative.

Tomato plants grow very well in a net house

Over 4,000 gerberas are grown in net houses

Gerbera plants in bloom are available to meet the demand for decoration demands of local residents

A pumping system to water plants and flowers in net houses

The Cooperative has received the Viet Nam Agriculture Practice (VietGAP) certificate from the GLOBALCERT Certification Joint Stock Company.

Ventilation systems are installed in the net houses

Cantaloupes are harvested after 80 days of growing to ensure their quality.

Tomatoes and vegetables are labeled before being sent to citywide supermarkets for sale.
