As spring was around the corner, officers, soldiers and residents on the archipelago was busy preparing for the Lunar New Year (Tet) - the biggest festival in a year of Vietnamese people.

In the first days of the new lunar year, they solemnly attended the flag-raising ceremony, went to pagodas, participated in the Tree Planting Festival, and organised many meaningful and fun activities.
