During his reception on Tuesday for the new Dutch Ambassador to Viet Nam, Ms Catharina Maria Trooster, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Phung Tan Viet, highly appreciated the deep sentiment shown by the Dutch government and its businesses for his city. 

The Dutch Ambassador expressed her pleasure at numerous open-door and preferential policies issued by Da Nang’s authorities to attract more foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows into the city.

She said that Da Nang is now home to some Dutch businesses specialising in producing beverages, electronics, lighting and shipbuilding, and that their effective operation has been leaving a deep impression on the local authorities.

The Dutch guest said she hopes that Da Nang will attract even more businesses from her country to seek investment and cooperation opportunities in the city.
