Speaking at a meeting on Thursday to review the Party’s promotional activities in Da Nang over the past 5 years, the municipal People’s Committee Chairman, Mr Huynh Duc Tho, underlined the need for local promotional officers to improve their professional skills, and their attitude and behaviour towards local residents, as well as listen to all opinions expressed by them.

The city leader also asked local relevant agencies to accelerate administrative reforms and bolster the fight against corruption and bureaucracy.

At the meeting, representatives from the municipal People’s Committee, the Party Committee’s Party Promotion Department, and the armed forces all entered into a cooperation agreement to implement promotional activities over the 2016 - 2020 period.

Under the agreement, a focus will be on widely publicising the State and Party’s resolutions and directives, including those on ethnic and religious affairs.  

Also at the meeting, 10 groups and 5 individuals were presented with Certificates of Merit from the municipal People’s Committee for their active involvement in promoting the Party over the past 5 years.
