According to a report released by the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), the success of the 22 May elections for the 14^th National Assembly (NA) and all-level People’s Councils of the 2016 - 2021 tenure was mainly attributed to the great efforts of the local FFCs at municipal, district and ward levels.

It was reported that the elections were successful in ensuring democracy, transparency, justice and legality.

Most notably, a total of around 700,000 residents, accounting for 99.8% of the local electorate, cast their votes to fulfil their citizens’ rights.

The municipal FFC honoured and rewarded 16 groups and 25 individuals in recognition of their active involvement in ensuring the success of the 5-yearly elections.
