Boosting bilateral cooperation with Gyeonggi Province
Last Friday, Da Nang People’s Council (PCl) Vice Chairman Nguyen Nho Trung warmly received a group of visitors from the Gyeonggi Provincial PCl in South Korea, led by Mr Choe Ho, a parliament member from the Liberty Korea Party.

Vice Chairman Trung applauded the visit by the Korean guests, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Viet Nam-South Korea diplomatic ties. He hoped that the bilateral friendship relations between Da Nang and Gyeonggi Province PCls would be fostered in the years ahead. He also asked for help from the visitors to appeal for even more businesses from their country to invest into Da Nang.
In reply, Mr Choe Ho spoke highly of Da Nang’s remarkable socio-economic achievements over recent years. He affirmed that Da Nang and his province shared many similarities in hi-tech development orientations.
The Korean guest said that his local relevant agencies are willing to work closely with the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs to implement effectively bilateral cooperation programmes with the city. He took the opportunity to express his sincere thankfulness to Vietnamese people for their great tolerance for pains that South Korean soldiers caused for them in the past in order to further the Viet Nam-South Korea friendship relations.
