On Friday morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Da Nang to attend activities within the framework of the ongoing APEC Economic Leaders’ Week, the culmination of Viet Nam’s year-long hosting of APEC meetings. 

The Russia leader was warmly received at the city’s International Airport by Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Truong Quang Nghia, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, and other Vietnamese government officials.
