The Da Nang guest pledged to continue helping the school affirm its position and role in the political system of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

Funded by Da Nang, the 10 billion VND school was officially put into use in March 2011.

When visiting the Vietnamese Language Centre, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Van Mien expressed his delight at its remarkble achievements in recent years.

Since its operation, the centre has taught Vietnamese language for 200 Laotian students before they have come to Viet Nam for studying.

Mr Mien said the city’s Department of Education and Training would help the centre solve some difficulties relating to teaching and learning equipment and textbook programmes in the coming time.

The 2-storey centre features 5 classrooms, 2 teachers' rooms, a working room, a kitchen, and some toilets.

Funded by Da Nang, the 6.5 billion VN centre was officially put into operation in May 2018. Da Nang has sent 2 Vietnamese teachers to teach at the centre.

On this occasion, the Da Nang leaders presented 100 million VND  each to the School of Politics and Public Administration and the Vietnamese Language Centre for purchasing their teaching and learning equipment.
