New Editor-in-Chief of DA NANG Newspaper appointed

Acting Editor-in-Chief of the DA NANG Newspaper Nguyen Duc Nam has been promoted to be the newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief.

Present at the appointment ceremony on Tuesday were Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee (PaC) Vo Cong Tri, Head of the municipal PaC Office Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Department of Publicity and Training Tran Dinh Hong, plus Director of the municipal Department of Information and Communications Nguyen Quang Thanh.

In his remarks at the event, Deputy Secretary Tri congratulated Mr Nam on his new position. He took the opportunity to ask the newly appointed leader of the DA NANG Newspaper to join efforts with his staff to secure the newspaper’s position as the voice of the Party, government and people of Da Nang.

Deputy Secretary Tri noted, over recent years, the DA NANG newspaper’s staff has made great efforts to enhance the quality of their publications, as well as successfully complete their assigned tasks. He took the opportunity to urge the newspaper’s staff to do their utmost to increase their newspaper’s position and prestige in the region, and in the country as a whole.

For his part, Mr Nam expressed his honour and pleasure at taking up the new position. He pledged that he and his staff members would jointly make greater efforts to uphold their consensus and solidarity to improve the quality of their publications in order to truly reflect the aspirations of local residents from all walks of life.
