Representatives from over 100 Da Nang-based businesses, on Tuesday, attended a training course which introduced the Government's Decree No 152/2020/ND-CP on the recruitment and management of foreign employees, and Vietnamese workers for foreign employers, in Viet Nam.

The event was co-hosted by the Da Nang Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, along with the Immigration Management Office under the Da Nang Police Department.

During the event, the attendees were introduced to the process of granting work permits to foreigners, as well as immigration procedures for foreigners who come to Viet Nam to work.

Also, representatives of the Immigration Management answered all the questions raised by the participants relating to difficulties arising during the granting of work permits for foreigners, and the temporary residence registration, in Viet Nam.

Data published by the Da Nang Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, as of mid-February,2021, Da Nang authorities had granted work permits to a combined total of 2,179 foreigners. The majority of them had been investors, managers, experts, and senior technical experts.
