Representatives of the Da Nang Newspaper on Thursday afternoon visited and handed over VND 20 million in donations from a reader to staff of Hai Chau District Medical Center and Thach Thang Ward Medical Station.

The cash support was given by Da Nang Newspaper’s reader who wants to remain anonymous.

Doctor Nguyen Trong Phuong, the Director of the Hai Chau District Medical Center and Doctor Le Tan Hung, the Head of the Thach Thang Ward Medical Station, , thanked the donor for her kind gesture and support to health workers in the fight against COVID-19.

The donor now lives and works in both Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Da Nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang from HCMC, she received active assistance from medical workers of the Hai Chau District Health Center and Thach Thang Ward Medical Station to self- isolate at home for 21 days, to get tested for SARS-CoV-2 in  accordance with the municipal government’s guidelines.
