Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang has been elected as the Head of the municipal Delegation of Deputies of the 15^th National Assembly (NA). Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, former Head of the Economic and Budgetary Board of the municipal  People's Council in the ^9th term now holds the post of Deputy Head of the Delegation.

The Da Nang Delegation of Deputies of the 15th NA consists of 6 officials, namely Mr. Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat; Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy, Standing Member of the N.A Committee for Social Affairs; Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, former Head of the Economic and Budgetary Board of the municipal  People's Council in the 9^th term; Colonel Tran Dinh Chung, Deputy Director of the Municipal Police Department and Mr. Nguyen Duy Minh, Chairman of the municipal Labour Union.

All of the Da Nang Deputies are now attending the first session of the 15^th NA in the capital city of Ha Noi.

During the session, the legislative body will elect and approve leadership positions of State agencies, and mull over reports on socio-economic development and other major issues.

Notably, the legislature will consider and decide the numbers of NA Vice Chairpersons and members of the NA Standing Committee, and elect NA Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons, members of the NA Standing Committee, NA Secretary General, Chairperson of the NA Council for Ethnic Affairs, heads of NA committees, and State Auditor General.

It will elect State President, Prime Minister, Vice State Presidents, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court, and Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
