Leaders of Military Zone 5 High Command pay pre-Tet visit to Da Nang leaders

Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc, the Commander of the Military Zone 5 High Command on Tuesday morning visited and extended Tet greetings to Da Nang’s leaders.

On behalf of leaders of the Military Zone 5 High Command, Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc extended best wishes to leaders and people of Da Nang on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022 celebrating the year of Tiger. He hoped that the city's leaders would continue to promote solidarity and make greater efforts to attract domestic and foreign investments, and make big breakthroughs for the city in the future.

Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc expressed his belief that the city would build a strong foundation for its sustainable growth with a focus on combining national defense and security with socio-economic development.

Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc thanked the city's leaders for their great care and active support given to the city-based armed forces. As a result, the city's armed forces were honoured in 2021 as the leading unit in the 4 northern provinces of the Military Zone.

The Commander of the Commander of the Military Zone 5 High Command also said that the city-based armed forces would uphold their achievements, and exert greater efforts to fulfill their assigned tasks in 2022 in order to be worthy of trust of the government and people of Da Nang.

On behalf of Da Nang’s leaders, municipal Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang showed his appreciation for Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc, and leaders of the Military Zone 5 High Command in general, for their strong support to the city.

The Da Nang top leader highlighted huge efforts the Military Zone 5 High Command has made to support the city’s fight against COVID-19. Mr Quang expressed his delight at remarkable achievements gained by the unit, contributing to drive the city’s growth.  

The city Party Chief also called for continued efforts of the Military Zone 5 High Command to support Da Nang to promote its socio-economic development, as well as maintain national defense and security.
