The Da Nang government has announced the development of 400 apartments, with each covering an area of 70m², at a total investment of VND400 billion for families of those who made meritorious services to the national revolution.

The development is as part of the project ‘Building social housing apartments arranged for families of people with meritorious services to the national revolution who face housing difficulties in the 2020 - 2025 period’.

Accordingly, in the project’s Phase 1, implemented from 2020 - 2024, VND209 billion will be spent on building 209 apartments on a total land area of 3,122m² on Vu Mong Tuyen Street, Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.

In the project’s Phase 2, deployed from 2023 - 2025, apartment buildings will be constructed in the city centre in Hai Chau or Thanh Khe districts.

Phase 3 will witness the development of an apartment complex on an area of 3,034m² along Truong Vinh Ky Street, Hoa Chau Commune, Hoa Vang District.

The total investment capital in Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the project is VN191 billion, equivalent to 191 apartments.

As for the scale of construction, each apartment building will be designed with 5 - 12 storeys, having elevators, modern architecture designs, synchronised infrastructure, living space with convenient and friendly building functions.

As assigned by the Da Nang People's Committee, the municipal Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Department of Construction and the Management Board of Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Projects will implement the development of the aforementioned apartments.
