Quang Nam delegation offers incense to commemorate fallen soldiers in Da Nang

To mark the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), a Quang Nam delegation led by Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Viet Cuong on Monday morning offered incense and flowers to commemorate the war martyrs at the Military Zone 5 Cemetery in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Nhon Commune, and the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Khuong Commune. Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh joined the Quang Nam delegation for the incense-offering ceremonies at the two local martyrs’cemeteries.

The participants observed a minute’s silence in commemoration of the heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation’s re-unification.

Over the past years, Da Nang have joined hands with Quang Nam Province to take care of revolution contributors and pay homage to fallen soliders. The two localitties always send their delegation to offer incense and flowers in tribute to the heroic martyrs in their neighbour on the occasion of the annual anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).
