During his reception on Monday for US Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Susan Burns, Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh thanked the US diplomat for her active support for the city’s bilateral cooperation programmes and projects with the USA over recent years.

Chairman Chinh remarked that Da Nang has been fostering diplomatic cooperation with countries and territories worldwide in a bid to appeal for more investors to the city.

The host hoped that Ms. Susan Burns will continue to accompany the city to further promote the friendship and effective cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.

Highly appreciating Da Nang’s recent rapid growth, Mrs. Susan Burns said that many US businesses were showing their keen interest in looking for investment opportunities in the city, especially when the city boasted great potential for human resources and improved infrastructure.

The US guest vowed that she will act as a bridge to promote the development of the friendship and cooperation relationships between the United States and Da Nang in the years ahead.
