Chairman Chinh expressed his delight at Indonesian diplomat’s first visit to Da Nang since he took office as Ambassador to Viet Nam in July 2022. He also briefed his guest on Da Nang's potential, advantages as well as development orientation in the coming time.

The city leader said that Da Nang has been focusing on developing information technology, digital transformation, seaports, aviation and marine tourism services. Especially, the My Khe Beach was voted one of the 6 most beautiful beaches in the world by the US Forbes Magazine in 2005. Most recently, the city has witnessed an increasing number of Indonesian travellers, so it has looked forward to cooperating with Indonesian tourism firms in order to promote the development of the marine tourism industry.

Mr. Chinh hoped that the Indonesian ambassador would act as a bridge to promote the bilateral cooperation between Vietnamese and Indonesian travel companies in the near future.

“We are committed to creating all favourable conditions for Indonesian investors to seek investment opportunities, as well as ensuring safety for all international tourists, including those from Indonesia” he emphasised.

In reply, Indonesian Ambassador Denny Abdi expressed his impression on Da Nang’s beauty and its potential and advantages as well, especially the city’s green, clean and friendly tourist environment.

The guest affirmed that he will do his utmost to appeal for Indonesian businesses and corporations to seek investment and cooperation opportunities in tourism in Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.
