The project consists of a 92 million USD upgrade of the local sewage and rainwater drainage systems, a 50.2 million USD Bus Rapid Transit pilot scheme, the development of a 77.9 million USD strategic urban road network, 15.3 million USD to provide technical assistance and enhance the management capacity for project implementation, and 36.8 million USD for transferred works from the Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Project.
The purpose of the project is to improve the urban environment through using energy effectively. It will help to increase local residents’ access to the city’s drainage and wastewater collection and treatment systems. In addition, it will assist in improving the local road network and public transport services in some selected areas.
