Following recent approval from the Vietnamese Prime Minister, Mr Nguyen Tan Dung, a total of 5,490 billion VND from the State budget will be given this year to help Da Nang and Ha Noi cities, and Hung Yen and Lang Son provinces, buy commercial housing projects in their localities.  The purpose is to provide housing for displaced families affected by local development projects.

Da Nang has so far bought some apartments from the Bluehouse, Nesthome, Vinaconex and Vincoland projects for resettlement purposes.  Some of these units will also be sold to local government employees who are in need of housing.
