One man died and another was seriously injured when a warhead exploded in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Tien Commune at about 5.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Ngo Hoang, 34, from Cam Le District’s Hoa Xuan Ward, who was a temporary resident in Hoa Tien Commune, was scrapping a warhead when it exploded.  The man was killed on the spot, and 19-year-old Le Thanh from the same commune was seriously injured by the explosion as he was passing by. 

According to Hoa Tien Commune’s police, the type of warhead has not been identified and the case is under further investigation.
