Over the past 2 months, relevant agencies in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District have been actively involved in widely publicising pavement regulations to local residents.  In addition, they have also asked local businesses to make commitments not to encroach onto street pavements.  Signs saying “Please park your vehicles in the regulated space.  Thank you!” are being placed on pavements by local traders.

As a result, the district’s residents are becoming more aware of ensuring order and cleanliness on local pavements.  There is less disorderly parking of vehicles on pavements, and there is more clear space on pavements for pedestrians.
