Efforts to control and prevent Ebola
The Da Nang People’s Committee has recently asked local relevant agencies to take effective measures to prevent any possible Ebola outbreak in the city.
In particular, the Department of Health has been urged to keep a close eye on any foreign tourists arriving in Da Nang from countries affected by the Ebola outbreak. The aim is to detect any suspected cases of Ebola disease in order to prevent the spread of the virus in the city. Top priority will be given to widely publicising the complicated development of the deadly disease, along with proactive measures against Ebola for both local residents and visitors. Importance will be attached to taking suitable measures to control an Ebola outbreak if it occurs in the city. These include ensuring sufficient supplies of medical equipment, medicines and sterilising chemicals in order to exactly diagnose this disease and provide effective treatment for patients.
