On 18 September, the Da Nang General Science Library at 46 Bach Dang Street closed its doors to prepare for its rebuild which will start in early November. 

Instead, the library has now re-opened temporarily at 44 Bach Dang Street.  The 260m² temporary library features a book borrowing room, and a room for reading monographs, newspapers and magazines for both adults and children.

At a cost of around 42.5 billion VND, the rebuild of the new library will incorporate a 2,747m² 2-storey library area and a 497m² 2-storey administration building.
