The Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, recently played host to a group from the Journalists' Association (JA) of South Korea, led by its Chairman, Mr Park Chong Ryul. 

Chairman Park said he was delighted by the fine development of bilateral relations between the JAs in South Korea and Da Nang over recent years which have helped to bring practical and effective results to both.  The Korean guest said that he would therefore like to further deepen the bilateral cooperation between the 2 associations in the years ahead.

Vice Chairman Tuan briefed his guests on Da Nang's remarkable tourism achievements over recent years which have helped the city to attract more international visitors and FDI inflows.  He said that these positive results were partly attributed to the great efforts made by local media agencies in advertising the local tourism image and investment policies.

The host also took the opportunity to ask the South Korean JA to act as a bridge in advertising Da Nang’s image to the South Korean people and in appealing for more businesses from their country to seek investment opportunities in the city.
