This is the 1st time that PP16 has organised this kind of event in Viet Nam.
The event is being attended by dental experts from Viet Nam, the USA, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
The oral and maxillofacial surgical consultant from the US Womack Army Medical Center, Colonel Lisa A Franklin, remarked that the event is highlighting knowledge of advanced dentistry and offering an experience exchange amongst PP16 member countries. Included are treatments for dental implants and bone grafts, dental infection control, and orthodontics.
On 19 and 20 July, doctors and medical technicians from PP16 provided free oral health care to poor people in Lien Chieu District's Hoa Hiep Nam and Hoa Hiep Bac wards.
