According to the Da Nang Power Company, the city’s highest power grid capacity during the upcoming New Year holiday is expected to hit 350MW, whilst its power output is likely to reach 6.8 million kWh.

In an attempt to ensure sufficient power over the holiday, the company has carried out maintenance on its power networks and transformer stations.

In addition, a focus has been on checking the strategic grids and reducing power overload at the transformer stations.  Importance has also been attached to upgrading the grid networks in new residential areas.

The company has recently urged the Power Transmission Company No 2 and the Central Regional Load Dispatch Centre to prepare spare power generators at local venues hosting cultural and sporting events during the holiday.
