On Tuesday, the Da Nang Department of Transport opened its own official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/sgtvtdn/?fref=nf.

The Director of the Department, Mr Le Van Trung, commented that the opening of the page aims to enhance their administrative reforms by enabling complaints from local residents and visitors about transport-related issues to be received and dealt with speedily.

Opinions from local citizens and visitors posted on the Facebook page will usually be responded to by members of the page’s management group, whilst more complicated matters will be reported to the leaders of the Department and the municipal authorities. 

If a post/complaint is submitted in English, the management group members can also deal with it.
