Funded by the US Pacific High Command, the over 144,000 USD house is scheduled to be put in use in September.

The 300m2, 2-storey house features 2 classrooms, toilet areas and other rooms.  In addition, there are lighting, drainage, lightning protection, and firefighting systems.

It will provide a studying space for the village’s children, as well as a storm and flood shelter for over 200 locals.

Also on the same day, the 2017 Pacific Partnership programme (PP17) participants attended an inauguration ceremony for the Hoa Lien Kindergarten in Hoa Lien Commune.

The newly-built kindergarten features 4 rooms of 60m2 each, and other necessary facilities to provide a comfortable studying space for local kids.
