A total of 10 honourees will be presented with the ‘Smile of Da Nang’s Government Employees 2018’ awards ceremony held at the Children’s Cultural Palace on 26 April.

Hosted by the municipal Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, the annual event aims to recognise the honourees’ great devotion and dedication to their work, as well as to encourage local government employees to enhance their friendly and polite attitude and behaviour towards residents and businesses.

Mr Ha Duc Hung, the Vice Chairman of the municipal Young Entrepreneurs Association, unveiled that, the upcoming awards ceremony will take place in tandem with a talk show highlighting the role and position of the private economy, with the participation of prestigious speakers who are famous businesspeople and representatives from State-run agencies.

First held in 2014, the ‘Smile of Da Nang’s Government Employees’ awards have created a driving force for government employees to enhance administrative reforms to bring better public services to locals and businesses, and ensure a better investment and business environment, as well as to appeal for even more domestic and foreign investment.

In particular, it also rings an alarm bell for those who neglect their duties and behave inappropriately at work.
