Da Nang and elsewhere in the central region and highlands are set to hit showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight, according to the Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

In particular, coastal localities from Da Nang to Binh Thuan is expected to see cloudy weather in the daytime, and experiece scattered showers and thunderstorms in the nightime. The thunderstorm is possible to be accompanied by lightning and strong winds.

The humidity is reported as between 55% and 95%. Meanwhile, the lowest temperatures is between 24 and 27 degree Celsius, and the highest ranging from 32 to 35 degrees Celsius.

In some parts of the central regions, localities from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue provinces are likely to experience heavy to very heavy downpours, possibly thunderstorms, on Monday night. The thunderstorms might result in lightning, whirlwinds, hailstormn, and strong winds.

The lowest temperatures are set to hover at around 23 - 26 degrees Celsius, whilst the highest temperatures are about to range between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius. The humidity stands between 65% and 98%.

Central highlands provinces are predicted to see cloudy weather, scattered rain and thunderstorms this evening, with the temperatures hovering at between 25 to 36 degrees Celsius, and the humidity of 50-95%.
