According to the Quang Nam Province authorities, the woman, who is living in Tien Loc Commune, Tien Phuoc District, Quang Nam Province, flew to Thailand from China's Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport on 9 February. Then, she boarded a flight from Thailand to Da Nang to return home in Quang Nam Province on the same day.
In Da Nang, she stayed at a hotel in Ngu Hanh Son District. During her stay in the city, she came into contact with 4 persons who are residing in Thanh Khe and Lien Chieu districts.
On 10 February, she returned home in Quang Nam Province, and reported her trip to her local authorities.
After that, her samples of throat swabs and blood serums were collected and sent to the Nha Trang Pasteur Institute to test for the virus. Although she tested negative for the virus, she is being isolated in her home.
Dr Ton That Thanh, the Director of the Da Nang Centre for Disease Control (CDC), said the staff at the Da Nang International Airport carried out temperature checks on the Quang Nam Province native, and she had no fever at that time.
Although her test is negative for the virus, Da Nang's doctors are monitoring 4 people she came into contact with in Da Nang.
